Redington Pier

Redington Beach is a small coastal city situated on a barrier   island in Pinellas County, Florida. It is just north of Madeira Beach between the Gulf of Mexico and the Intracoastal. The first developments were built in the 1920s by Charles Redington and the town was incorporated in 1945. In it’s earlier days it was known as North Madeira Beach.

Just like Madeira Beach to the south, Redington Beach has a beautiful white sandy beach, perfect for swimming, sunbathing and watching the sunset over the Gulf of Mexico. There are typically fewer tourists in Redington, so if you are looking for peace and quiet while being on the beach this may be the place for you.

There are several dog friendly and kid friendly parks in Redington, such as Town Park and Friendship Park.

Similar to other communities on the barrier islands of Pinellas County there are lots of opportunities to buy a home on the water, on either the Intracoastal or the Gulf of Mexico. Luxury single family homes on the Gulf of Mexico have sold recently for as high as nearly $6,000,000 and homes on the Intracoastal can easily be over $2,000,000. The many condos on Gulf Blvd provide stunning views of the beach and the Gulf of Mexico, for example, La Vistana condos have long deep balconies that make you feel like you are sat on the beach.
